So far this year, since the recession, we’ve managed to save money on the home insurance, pet insurance and travel insurance thanks to our favourite price comparison engine so when Direct Line told us our “cheap” car insurance was up for renewal and I saw the premium level I nearly died. It was ridiculously high, but then I suppose everything is going up.
