Cheap Van Insurance

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

Choosing cheap van insurance has always been a problem for a lot of people I know and I happen to be one of them. Finding cheap car insurance is bad enough but finding cheap van insurance is an absolute nightmare, or at least it was in the past before price comparison sites were invented. They really are a little miracle because you can save hundreds off your insurance premiums every year and put money back into the household budget every month.

I was well impressed with the cheap van insurance I found when I did an online comparison. First off, I had to fill in my details to get the quotes and I could also have selected to have them saved or emailed to me. Then I went to a screen that asked me what I wanted of my policy. I asked for a whole range of things, including breakdown cover, legal expenses and courtesy vehicle cover so I was really surprised when there were over 25 quotes returned that were cheaper than my renewal quote! I was amazed that the market was so competitive. I mean, I knew there were lots of insurance providers out there but I wasn’t aware just how low some of them could afford to offer their cover.

I’ll definitely be looking around every year when this time rolls around because the availability of cheap van insurance that ticked all of the boxes for me was astonishing. I never knew you could find policies that were such good value. Well apparently you can and I did so I’ll be going back for more!

Cheap Van Insurance

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

Cheap van insurance is definitely not a term I’ve been familiar with over the years. Expensive van insurance yes, cheap car insurance no. My husband and I have four dogs and can’t just make do with a car when we’re going on our hols or even to the vets. No commercial use at all but I feel like we’ve been treated that way. Seems like we’ve had to pay the white van man’s share of the premium too.

When we got our renewal notice through my husband just chucked it on the side to let it roll over. I’m so glad I looked because it’d gone up a lot without any good reason as far as I could see. We had an accident but it wasn’t our fault and the van got repaired on the other guy’s insurance. Still, no way was I going to pay the extra for that. I’d heard of comparison sites so I headed to one of the most well known ones to look for cheap van insurance that allowed for non-commercial use and charged us a fair price.

I found at least 50 quotes from insurance providers that offered cheap van insurance at reasonable premiums with no strings attached and could save £200 plus. I saved £194 in the end because I didn’t go for the cheapest one. It was missing a few features like courtesy car cover, but the one we chose was really good and will definitely be just the job for us. Cheap van insurance and peace of mind – not bad for 5 minutes on the computer!

Cheap Van Insurance

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

If you’d asked me a week ago I’d have told you that all insurance companies were rip off merchants. I paid a fortune for insuring my van and nearly had a heart attack when the renewal notice landed on my doormat last week. It’d gone up by £131 for every one of my 4 vans. If I’d put in a claim or clocked up some points I’d have taken it on the chin. But I hadn’t! They thought I’d just renew but no way! I went out and got me some cheap van insurance that saved me over £500.

You’d think that I’d given up some of the best bits of my policies wouldn’t you for that much left in my pocket? I didn’t though. That was the best bit. The policy I chose had all of the features that my old one did without the hassle. Cheap van insurance doesn’t mean that its rubbish at all and I definitely made the right decision by checking out my options.

I cheated though. Instead of going round all the different companies I used a comparison site because it only took me a few minutes and business is good so we’re busy. Gotta take on as much work as possible at the minute because you never know when it’s going to dry up. Saving money is still important though, more important right now than it’s been in the past so I was glad to have the option of cheap van insurance. Every van owner should, especially everyone that has a small fleet like me. Have more than one van and you’ll get stung, but not if you take out a new policy so go for it and take all your no claims with you!

Cheap Van Insurance

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

As a small business owner, I’ve been looking to cut costs for some time now so that I and my employees can make it through the recession in one piece. Like many other business owners, I do not want to let my staff go and be responsible for their unemployment. I’ve found many ways to cut costs and survive so far in a number of areas, one of which was obtaining cheap van insurance. I was quite shocked when I found out just how much I could save.

My business depends on a variety of people being able to drive any of my vans and this has cost me a lot of money in the past. The insurance firm that I was with previously, and for a number of years, did not offer cheap van insurance or even discounts for no claims, multiple vans or repeat business. I thought that this was the norm but have found out that I did not have to pay nearly as much as I have done in the past.

Despite having several drivers per van, I was able to find a cheap van insurance deal quickly and easily via a price comparison site. All I had to do was provide the details pertaining to my business and the people that would be using the van – once. I was not required to input the details again and found a range of good prices and comprehensive policies. Choosing between them was not easy and took longer than actually obtaining the quotes in the first place! I will definitely be doing the same thing again when my current cheap van insurance policy comes up for renewal.

Fleet Van Insurance

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

If you own a fleet of vans, whether you use them for your business or hire them out, then the likelihood is that your van insurance is costing you a fortune. If you happen to have been with the same provider year after year then you might find that your premiums have gone up significantly in the past year or so because of the number of fraudulent claims. However, you do not have to pay those over-inflated prices at all. You can just obtain quotes, find the best value van insurance policy and choose that – simple!

Well, you might think that finding affordable van insurance for a fleet of vans is a major task if you want to change provider, which may also be why you have yet to do it up until this point. However, with a range of specialist providers as well as mainstream insurers now available to you on the Internet there is no excuse… especially given the fact that it takes just a few moments to find quotes if you use of the many comparison sites out there.

It took me ten minutes to find van insurance for my fleet at a rate of £214 cheaper than my previous quote. Although my choice was limited because few insurers offer commercial van insurance, that saving will really help with my business costs at the moment. All I had to do was put a few details into a form and save them before searching a database of providers. From there, I could compare the different policies, add features, take them away and make sure that everything I needed was included. It really was that easy, and I’m not even that used to using the Internet. I’m sure that anyone else could do it and it will be the best ten minutes you ever spend online if you save as much as I did.

Van Insurance

Monday, May 25th, 2009

Is it just me or do other van drivers out there never get everything they want and need from their van insurance? Last year I broke down and found out for the first time that breakdown was not covered as a part of my van insurance policy. Having never had to use it before and because accident recovery was included, I just assumed that breakdown was a part of my policy. Unfortunately it was not so I had to pay a fortune to tow my van home - £350 to be precise. I know it is my fault for not reading the policy documents but I knew there had to be an easier way so I looked around after receiving my renewal quote and I am so glad that I did.

I found van insurance policies from a variety of providers, mainstream and specialist alike. All of them offered cheaper quotes than I had received for renewal from my existing provider but the main element I liked was that I could check all of the policy values and features quickly and easily on one of the available comparison websites out there. There are so many to choose form but the best ones have a table that allows you to compare exactly what the policies contain and choose the best one for you. This method is completely transparent from the start.

Van insurance is essential for anyone using a van for business but you should absolutely make sure that the policy you choose has everything you need. From experience, choosing a policy with even one feature that you need missing can really hit you where it hurts – directly in the pocket! Do not let it, and save money on your premiums as well. Every penny counts!

Van Insurance

If you happen to drive a van at the moment then the likelihood is that you will paying through the nose for your van insurance. With fraudulent claims up and general costs higher than ever, more and more people are finding it difficult to be able to afford van insurance and run the van at the same time. Or at least they are if they go to the wrong provider of van insurance. However, you need not put up with excessive premiums anymore. The competition in the marketplace means that you can actually go to a wide range of van insurance specialists and the more well known providers as well and save a lot of money.

With no claims discounts of up to 70%, multiple van insurance and a variety of other online discounts, you can save hundreds on your van insurance when it comes up for renewal. Even better, you can access a huge range of features that may not have been available for you in the past. This has all arisen from the competition within the marketplace between different insurers. They compete for your business and so offer you optional extras like breakdown cover and new for old cover at a great rate.

With the credit crunch hitting hard, I needed to remain competitive and stay on the road. Looking around for good value van insurance has allowed me to do just that. I saved hundreds and that helped me to offset the cost of petrol as well. More importantly though, I can go out on the road at any time and know I’m fully covered no matter what.

Van Insurance

If you drive a van then you might have the same opinion of van insurance that I used to have – that it is overpriced, not worth the hassle but a pain anyway because you cannot afford to be caught on the road without it. My opinion has now changed, but only because I refused point blank to pay my van insurance renewal quote and decided to go elsewhere! I headed over to one of the insurance comparison websites to see what was on offer and was quite surprised at the results.

The comparison site I chose was comprehensive and I found that I only had to put the details on there once, which was a bonus. After taking a few moments to do that and specify what features I wanted, it search a huge database for me and brought back hundreds of results for me to look at. Organised into those that would be most relevant for me, it was easy to find a van insurance policy that had everything I wanted and needed without an over-inflated price.

Van Insurance is of course a legal requirement if you want to drive a van on the road but if you use it for business then it really is essential to protect you. Although I’ve been happy with policies that I have held in the past, this one has given me a greater peace of mind than I have ever had before. With breakdown insurance, 24 hour accident recovery, a 65% no claims discount and expenses paid for medical problems arising from an accident, amongst other things, I think I’ve got the best deal possible with a high quality policy but an affordable premium.

Van Insurance

Monday, May 4th, 2009

Van insurance is one of those insurance products that were not widely available 20 years ago. Few mainstream car insurance providers offered it and, depending on the size and nature of your van, you may have found it difficult to access from high street banks and insurers. As a result, you usually had to go to specialist providers. There was one major problem with that though – there was little competition in the marketplace so you had to pay through the nose for van insurance. Not so today though. In fact, you can save hundreds of pounds… just like I did!

Van insurance is now available from hundreds of insurers, and I was surprised by just how many are out there. Using a comparison site, I was able to input everything I wanted and needed from a van insurance policy and obtain quotes from hundreds of them within a few moments. Specialist providers are still available but you can also get your insurance from a huge number of mainstream providers too. This has made the market a lot more competitive. In turn, that has made van insurance policies much cheaper, especially if you have no claims years behind you!

Choosing from the many van insurance products available can be rather trying because of the choice you have but do not make the same mistake that so many others make every year – don’t choose a policy on the basis of price alone. If you do that then you could end up with huge bills if you end up in an accident. Instead, make sure that you only choose a policy that has all the features you want for the cheapest price possible. Not only will you save money that way but you will also save a lot of heartache!

Small Van Insurance

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

It is fair to say that the insurance markets are far more competitive than they have ever been. You have access to a whole range of products and services that offer you everything you want and need at a price you can afford. In fact, more types of insurance have been introduced in the past few years than ever before, and one of those happens to be small van insurance. Small van insurance is actually a policy that will give you quality cover for your small van so you can remain legal on the road without having to pay out for the more expensive commercial van cover.

All small van insurance policies contain many of the features that you would find in car insurance or even van insurance policies but at the level appropriate for your vehicle. For example, many policies include the following features:

• Courtesy car cover in the event that you need a vehicle to fill the void if yours is being repaired after an accident
• Breakdown cover, which may or may not include roadside assistance and towing
• 24 hour accident claims line and recovery services
• Personal possessions cover for all items within the car should you suffer a break in or have your vehicle stolen
• Personal medical expenses or public liability cover (this is often an add on)
• Windscreen repair and replacement cover

Of course, some providers offer more of the above on small van insurance than others do and some of the above features may actually come in the form of add ons rather than policy features as standard. However, you should assess your requirements and specifications to ensure that you know what to look for when comparing policies. After all, small van insurance can give you peace of mind and ensure that your best interests are fully protected.
