Have you ever been tempted by certain offers that are advertised by various car insurance providers on TV. “Find a better deal and we will give you £50!” “Switch to us and we will beat your renewal quote!” “Why not try us and get £100 today!” All of them sound absolutely fantastic but they tend to offer a sort of false economy. They are specifically designed to attract car insurance customers and often also serve to mask the faults behind a certain policy. Of course, every policy is designed to suit someone out there but would you really be happy with £100 to lure you to a company only to find that you have an excess of £500? Thought not. This is only an example but you catch the drift.
More and more companies are starting to offer cashback or vouchers to entice more customers to them when their car insurance is up for renewal and such an offer is often met by a greater number of policies being approved. However, there are so many problems with this and too many people settling for an average or poor car insurance policy as a result.
If you can get the car insurance policy you want and can afford then you have the best possible cover for you. If that comes with a bonus then even better, but never choose the bonus over and above the policy itself because that is a sure fire way to get burned. Incentives are just what the label suggests but they do not indicate the quality of cover available so your best course of action at renewal time is to compare car insurance quotes and go from there. If you have the policy you want then you automatically get peace of mind and that is worth more than any cash or voucher incentive available.

Have you watched much of the news about the rioting over the last few days? If you have not then where have you been??? It has literally been plastered all over the TV and newspapers for several days now. Plenty of people have been affected by it and will continue to be but if you are one of the many people that have had their cars burned or damaged as a result of the rioting then do you know where you stand in relation to your car insurance?
Car insurance providers undoubtedly put their head in their hands when they were looking at the damage because many will have to pay for cars that are no longer a viable transport option. However, some are apparently already refusing to pay out. Some of the cheapest providers actually have clauses in their cover that states that they will not pay out for incidence like mass violence and other such oragnised affairs. This is not confirmed as yet but you never know whether it is true or not until you hear it directly from the provider.
It should be worth noting though that car insurance providers will put your premiums up when renewal time rolls around because you will have had an area upgrade as far as the likelihood of crime is concerned. If you claim then you will be more likely to do so in the next 12 months but even if you have not then some providers will increase your quotes because someone near to you may have done. You cannot win either way. The only thing to do is to compare car insurance before taking out a quote. This is the only way that you will find a policy to suit you and an affordable premium that suits your wallet as well!

Do you drive on roads in Europe when you go on holiday there? Many people do. Hiring a car has never been easier and can even be done as part of a package deal. With the ferry and Eurostar available as well you can even take your own car, and many car insurance companies do offer a certain level of cover abroad. However, the problem, according to a recent survey, lie not with the availability of cars but with the quality of driving.
Did you know that just 20% of Europeans think that Brits take enough care when driving on their roads? Yes, the quality of driving by Brits on the continent is appalling, with many Europeans being outraged by the lack of care taken by Brits on their roads. This may have something to do with arrogance though. For example, we all know that they drive on the opposite side of the road to us but only 49% knew that they had to change the beam on headlights. In addition, a test given to drivers featuring 6 road signs from the continent gave an average individual score of 28%. This is nowhere near good enough because it would not enable any driver to pass their driving tests in Europe. As such, they should not technically be driving there.
With approximately 7 million Brits heading to Europe and taking their cars with them, you do need to do your homework and find out the rules of the road. If you do not then you will find your car insurance invalidated by your appalling driving and inability to adhere to the law. You also need to check just how far your car insurance will reach too as some only offer third party cover abroad. Phone them in advance to make sure that you have the level of cover you want to enjoy your holiday.

So far this year, since the recession, we’ve managed to save money on the home insurance, pet insurance and travel insurance thanks to our favourite price comparison engine so when Direct Line told us our “cheap” car insurance was up for renewal and I saw the premium level I nearly died. It was ridiculously high, but then I suppose everything is going up. I could afford to pay it but don’t see why I have to pay for others’ accidents, especially uninsured drivers and men (we all know men have more accidents and women have to subsidise them!). I thought I’d look for better cheap car insurance and perhaps specialist women’s car insurance.
I decided to use a comparison engine because it seemed more economical. I work long days and find it difficult to dedicate enough time to my job and my family without throwing added extras in there that take more time. That’s why I took ten minutes getting quotes from a range of insurers rather than hours going around all their websites and calling them. The cheap car insurance comparison table told me everything I needed to know about the policies and was very easy to use so I was pleased with the experience… and the price I chose to pay!
Before settling for cheap car insurance quote from one of the leading women’s providers, I only had to fill in my details once, which I was pleased about. There is nothing worse than filling in your details and ticking your boxes over and over again. It gets a little tedious so this is one of the major plus points for me. The other is of course the cheap car insurance…

Looking for cheap car insurance these days is like searching for gold – you can look and look and look and still never find what you want. Well, it would have been if some clever person hadn’t created search comparison engines, or whatever they’re called. The renewal notice arrived a couple of days ago and the premiums had gone up, as they do every year, but this year we couldn’t afford it. We’ve had to tighten our belts a lot and couldn’t justify spending that much. After talking about giving up the car we looked for cheap car insurance on the off chance we’d find it.
We did find it. We found a cheap car insurance policy with one of the top insurance providers, esure. I think that’s the one with the annoying adverts with Michael Winner but I don’t really care about that because we saved over £180. Both my wife and I drive the same car, well same 4×4, and didn’t want to change it to a cheaper car so we were really pleased with that.
The comparison engine we used returned numerous results, some of which were a little cheaper than the one we chose but they didn’t offer the same value. Some had courtesy car cover as an extra, which is essential as we only have one car, and others just were not as comprehensive in general. Providing you’re smart, I think it’s possible to get a fantastic deal on your cheap car insurance with everything you want and need from it right there in one package.

As a 19 year old that has just passed her driving test, I’m sick and tired of looking for a car that I can afford to run. Even crappy cars that cost £500 are £6000 to insure, PER YEAR! If a car is only worth £500 then why the daylight robbery? I’d have to write it off 12 times a year to justify that price. I’d never really thought about it before but I guess that’s not how it works. Thank God I’m not a boy because that’d have been £8000 easy. Anyways, I was so upset because I didn’t think I’d get to have my own car until I discovered cheap car insurance.
I’d gotten a few quotes from my dad’s insurer, my mum’s insurance company (she works for them) and a couple of big names that I happened to see on TV when I was watching daytime TV at uni. Every time I ended up frustrated so I just stopped bothering. My dad had bought me a Vauxhall Corsa and I couldn’t drive it – great! As a last resort I tried a comparison site and found a handful of cheap car insurance policies so I finally felt I was getting somewhere. The cheap car insurance was still from good providers but not those I’d been looking at.
I was amazed to find that the cheap car insurance available was comprehensive and not third party but still affordable. Considering my age and experience behind the wheel I was shocked. When it comes around for renewal I’ll definitely be doing the same because I can’t afford not to. I thought it was well worth the effort and think a comparison site is the only way to go for me and people like me.

Did you know that Moneysupermarket.com offers more than just a facility to compare car insurance quotes? If you did not know that until a few seconds ago then you are not alone. It is easy to log onto the website and then head straight or the section you have specifically visited to use without taking a deeper look into the site, especially when it is so easy to navigate around. However, next time you visit, just take a few moments to look around properly because you will definitely find more than you bargained for, much of which will actually help you to get your finances on track.
Moneysupermarket.com has a news and community section that can prove to be a valuable resource for every individual looking for quotes on various products. In short, the community section is useful for everyone that actually lands on the Moneysupermarket.com homepage! I was surprised to find plenty of forums there for you to chat with others in addition to useful articles that are packed full of information that you can use to get the best deals for your money. New articles are appearing all the time, or at least they are if you believe the dates on them! As such, you can always learn a little something else to help you manage your finances.
There are also videos present of Moneysupermarket.com, all of which I have never seen before. I actually found quite a few of them helpful. However, I doubt very much that the articles and videos will be the only features added to the site in the months to come. It seems that Moneysupermarket.com has new and helpful features every single time I visit the site for quotes. As such, I would not hesitate to visit again. After all, any website that is more than happy to share information with you on getting the best deals and saving money thinks of its customers. Moneysupermarket.com certainly does.

Ask anyone to name three financial comparison sites and I guarantee that they will say “Moneysupermarket.com” for one of those three answers. It is now a household name and is well respected and yet still people fail to use it to find cheaper deals for their car insurance, amongst other things. This is the second year that I have successfully used it and I guarantee that if you take a few moments to check out Moneysupermarket.com then you will find that you can make huge savings.
Moneysupermarket.com actively boasts about the amount of money it can save individuals looking to insure their car, home or even life. In fact, the first headline you see when you head there refers to the thousands of products that you can get quotes for quickly and easily as and when you like. This does not depend on the product or service you want to get quotes for. Moneysupermarket.com is partnered with that many companies, insurance providers and service providers that it applies to every single category on there. No matter whether you are looking for broadband or car insurance quotes, you can definitely find something there for you. I was also pleasantly surprised to find myself browsing the site for well above an hour looking at how I can save money around the house!
Moneysupermarket.com definitely has the consumer, like you and me, in mind. There are great eye-catching colours, easy navigation, plenty of categories of goods and services, excellent deals and a range of useful articles that can tell you everything you need to know about your finances. As such, it certainly looks like it has been designed with the average person’s needs in mind. Check out Moneysupermarket.com and see how much you can save now. It will only take a few minutes so you have nothing to lose.

Ask anyone on any British high street to name two car insurance comparison facilities and I guarantee that one of them will be Confused car insurance, or Confused.com as it seems to be more commonly known. It is a popular choice, largely because those that have used the facility before wax lyrical about it but more so now because it can save all sorts of drivers hundreds of pounds per year on their car insurance premiums. With a wide choice of providers available to you, you could do worse than to go get a range of quotes at Confused car insurance.
Of course, that is definitely one of the major advantages that are associated with Confused car insurance – the fact that you can get tens of quotes all in the one place. They are displayed on the one screen too for ease of comparison. As such, all you have to do is input what you want and need from a car insurance policy and then check the different results returned against each other. The Confused car insurance site actually offers a grid type layout just to make it completely idiot proof! Look for the ticks and the one with the most is the best policy for your needs!
Plenty of my friends used Confused car insurance to find their new policies when their previous car insurance products came up for renewal. It saved one friend £60 and another £173. Any saving is better than nothing but can you really afford to pass up this kind of saving? When it costs so much to run a car as it is without paying over the odds for your legally required insurance policy, why settle for anything less than the best price for the best car insurance for you?

What would you expect to see when you arrive on a comparison site homepage? More specifically, what would you expect to see when you arrive on a car insurance comparison homepage? Some people expect to see really simple forms for you to fill in, some expect to see a colourful introduction that welcomes visitors with open arms, but what if I said you could find both at Moneysupermarket.com? Believe me, the site does provide a few frills but behind those are some excellent facilities that few other car insurance comparison sites offer.
Moneysupermarket.com has a vast range of features available to you. Firstly, I was surprised to find that it offers quotes from far more providers than I thought. All of the major ones are on there and offer quotes through Moneysupermarket.com with the exception of one or two providers. One of those missing I absolutely know is more expensive than most because they used to provide my car insurance. I recently switched and saved £227 per annum for virtually the same policy!
I was also surprised to find that Moneysupermarket.com also offers quotes on a whole range of products and services and not just car insurance. I thought that it only offered car insurance for some reason but you could also obtain a range of quotes for al other major forms of insurance like home and travel. There are also loan, mortgage and credit card quotes in addition to household services like broadband. I had no idea that you could get this much value out of a free comparison site. In effect, Moneysupermarket.com offers the complete service. It does have one major fault though – it offers so much choice that you have absolutely no idea where to look first!
