Temporary car insurance, or short term car insurance as it is otherwise known, is not one of the products that is well publicised on the insurance market today. There are numerous reasons for this, including the relatively low level of demand, but every driver should be fully aware that it exists and is out there for them should they need it. In effect, temporary car insurance is cover that lasts for between 24 hours and 28 days and so is designed to cover a specific time frame of the driver’s choosing. This is obviously in lieu of a full insurance policy rather than running alongside one. |
